DESCRIPTION

With roots on the island of Santorini since 1870, the Koutsogiannopoulos family has built a legacy of winemaking excellence that spans for five generations.

Varietal Composition:  A heritage wine based on a 150-year-old secret-recipe that’s been passed down through 5 generations.

Grown in select vineyards exclusively dedicated to its production, the grapes are handpicked by specialized harvesters at deep ripeness and at incredibly low yields and then sun-dried for 10to 12 days.

Naturally fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in old 500L French oak barrels for 10 years.

Tasting Notes: Deep ruby colour with brown highlights. Explosive and highly complex nose with foreground notes of dried fruit, caramel and honeycomb.

A delicious sweet wine of rich texture and refreshing acidity that invites the next sip.

Best enjoyed at 6-8°C

Ageing Potential: Over 15 years
