• DESCRIPTION
Rooted on the island of Santorini since 1870, the Koutsogiannopoulos family has built a legacy of winemaking excellence that spans five generations.
Varietal Composition: 100% Assyrtiko
Sourced from selected over 50-year-old plots on prime vineyards, mainly around the villages of Exo Gialos, Vlychada, and Monolithos.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks in a controlled environment at gradually increasing temperatures, and aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes:
Mid lemon in color with golden highlights. Intense and rich nose, with fine aromas of ripe stone fruits and dried citrus over subtle notes of wood followed by a sweet hint of hazelnut.
Full-bodied and perfectly balanced in the mouth leading to a lively finish and a lingering aromatic aftertaste.Best enjoyed at 12°C.
Ageing Potential: Up to 8 years.
